Who is Barack Obama?

This revelation about the citizenship question, got me to looking into more of Obama's intruiging, mysterious background. Mom and Dad are both gone. Grandparents were conservative Kansas folks, but their daughter marries a Kenyan and an Indonesian (this in the early 60s, mind you). What doesn't compute here?
This article offered a little insight into Obama's family background. I'm not here to pile on because of inter-racial relationships, but it's the leftist radicalism that concerns me. Especially enlightening is the claim that Obama's grandparents were not conservative Kansas baptists, but left-wing unitarians whose church was known as "the little red church."
In spite of the way that the McCarthy hearings have been portrayed in the popular media as a witchhunt against anyone left of center (which they may or may not have been), there were communists in this country seeking to undermine our government. Read Thomas Merton's Seven Story Mountain and you can hear his own experience with the reds. The fact that Obama's family comes from this same group, not to mention his other connections, are more than enough reason to give Americans serious pause.
